Trisha Perreira Feb 05, 2026So when shopping here, keep an open mind that Asian food is different. Proper preperation and spices will yield delicious foods. Don't be afraid to ask. Also they clean your fish. The ready cooked deli is also good for take away.

Anyway I'm from the Westside so my mouth dropped when I went in this Foodland. They have more variety of everything. Everything was nice and stocked and they had lots of things we don't have in kapolei's Foodland or their sister store in Nanakuli Sack n' Save.

The McDonald's there is good too and sometimes I go to the nail place and get my nails done and the people in there are really nice too
LATEYA KEKOA Dec 26, 2025Place is very busy but surprisingly there were all lines open and though the lines were backed to the grocery aisles, they moved along pretty quickly and steadily. I appreciated that! Though I didn't find everything I was looking for they have all your common and staple foods most grocery stores carry. Their prices are fair and beats neighboring markets in the West. Tamuras might have more selections as far as dried goods etc they're just as busy, but they're slightly more expensive than Sack and Save. If you need to buy common household groceries Sack and Save is your safest bet. Otherwise travel a bit further in and pay a little more to get a better shot at what you're looking for or need. To be fair, I don't expect any of the islands groceries to have what I was looking for except maybe a farmers marker, swap meet, or Pacific Supermarket in Waipahu. (I was hoping to find Pandan leaves and or pandan flavoring to make Chinese Sweet Rice cakes)
